No hidden fees. If your project requires third-party services (hosting, APIs, licenses), I present all options during the scoping session.

You know all costs upfront and choose solutions that fit your budget and needs.

Can I cancel my advisory subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your advisory subscription at any time.

If you feel that the advice does not meet your expectations, and you wish to cancel a subscription during your first week, I will refund you 75% of your subscription.

Do you accept long-term missions (6+ months)?

Yes, depending on my availability. During our initial discussion, I'll confirm whether it's possible based on my schedule. If I accept your long-term mission, you benefit from dedicated priority throughout the entire project duration.

Do you provide a detailed specification document before starting?

Yes, systematically. I send you a detailed quote before each mission that includes precise specifications: final deliverable, intermediate milestones, timelines, and technical requirements. No project starts without your written approval.

Do you provide technical documentation and post-delivery support?

Yes, systematically. I provide complete user documentation as well as technical documentation for modifying and evolving the code. Upon request, I can also provide training and support for your teams after delivery.

Do you work only remotely or also on-site?

I work primarily remotely, but I can travel on-site for important occasions: strategic project scoping, critical milestone deliveries, or team training. Travel expenses and mobilization time are billed separately. You can find all details on the Where I Work page.

How do you calculate your "à la carte" quotes?

My quotes depend on:

Technical complexity Delivery urgency Project scope Technologies used I bill either fixed-price for precise and well-defined tasks, or daily rate (€550) for more exploratory missions.

Since each project is unique, I assess your needs during the free scoping session to propose an adapted rate.

How does payment work?

For short missions:

50% deposit upon signing
50% upon final delivery

For missions of 1 month or more:

€2,000 deposit upon signing
The rest spread across intermediate deliverables

This approach guarantees regular follow-up and concrete deliverables throughout the project, while protecting me against bad payers.

How often do you communicate during the project?

I adapt to your communication needs. As a general rule, I provide written progress updates every 2-3 days, aligned with my deliverables. For critical projects, we can establish daily communication if necessary.

My preferred technologies are:

The choice of technologies is always made based on your specific needs and constraints. I tend to favor robust technologies with the least vendor lock-in possible, with also a focus on security and GDPR. For these reasons I generally avoid American cloud providers. But everything is decided according to your needs.
